Star Party

Anandian Astronomical Association together with Astronomy Society of Mahamaya Girls’ School ,Kandy organize Star Party in peradeniya university with over 400 participants. This is the first and ever observation competition in South Asia and since 2007 an astronomy workshop launched along this competition. We are proud to say that this is the biggest sky observation camp in Sri Lanka and it was the best and biggest astronomy event in “International Year of Astronomy 2009”. Since 2004 we organize this event as the biggest school-joined program.
